RIDECrowsnest Transit Bus- In celebration of Canada's 150th birthday, the CNP Municipal  Council is pleased to announce that RIDECrowsnest will be offered as a FREE service from March 1 to Aug 31, 2017.  RIDECrowsnest is a door-to-door bus service that enables everyone to get to their destination, including trips to the grocery store, the yoga studio, the movie theatre, wherever! 

RIDECrowsnest Schedule - 

Mondays  - Rec & Leisure Day - Open to anyone in any neighbourhood wanting to go to a recreations or leisure activity. Pick up starts at 9am in Coleman & continues ALL DAY.

Tuesdays - Picking up in Blaimore and Frank starting 915am. Last Drop off at 430pm.  Call the Municipal office by 845AM to book your trip for that day. (562-8833)

Wednesdays - Picking up in Hillcrest and Bellevue starting at 9am. Last drop off at 430pm. Call the municipal Office by 8:45am to book your trip for that day (562-8833)

Thursdays - Picking up from Coleman starting at 9am, last drop off around 430pm. Call the Municipal office by 8:45 to book your trip for that day. (562-8833)

Fridays - FLEX FRIDAYS! - Fridays are open to EVERYONE to go ANYWHERE. Pick up begin at 2pm.. final pick up at 9pm!  After 430pm on Fridays call the driver directly at 403-563-0040 to arrange your ride!

WALK ONS WELCOME - If you see the bus stopped when you are out and about and need a ride, just hop on!

May Message from the Crowsnest Conservation WildED - This time of year deer and moose may seek perceived saftey in residential areas to give birth. Dong, even humans, may be treated as potential predators, turning a normally skittish doe or a cow moose into a surprisingly aggressive and protective mama. If you find either new babies or cranky moms near your home, give them LOST OF ROOM and keep pets on a leash for everyone's saftey. Report any aggressive wildlife encounters to the Fish and Wildlife office.

May 19th  - DEADLINE TO REGISTER FOR THE HOME ALONE SAFTEY PROGRAM (see info below May 26th)

May 23rd – Last Day of Brat Pack – It’s the last day of Brat Pack for this year! Join them as they celebrate with a guest drummer, Jaron Weasle Bear!! They will have a drumming ceremony and a Pow wow. Learn about the Blackfoot Tribe, and have a chance to try Bannock, a traditional bread snack! Head to the Crowsnest Community Library for the last day of Brat Pack today from 10am – 1130am. This is a FREE program. Kids aged 0-12 welcome, MUST be accompanied by an adult. May 26th – CNP Home Alone Safety Program – Being at home along can be an uncomfortable and unsafe situation without some basic skills. The Home Alone Saftey Program prepares youth to feel confident and safe when home alone. The Home Alone Program is designed to provide kids aged 10 and older with the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone for short periods of time. The Program will run Friday May 26th at ISS from 1pm – 4pm. You MUST REGISTER BY MAY 19th – space is limited to 10 participants.. to register call kim lewis at 403-563-2207

May 27th - Free Metis Fiddle workshop and EVENING Concert with Nate Baker! - The Pincher Creek Metis local 1880 are offering a FREE workshop in the Metis Fiddle May 27th. There are 2 sessions a morning session from 1030 - 1130am and an afternoon session from 1-3pm. Please call 403-627-8786 to register for the workshop and for any other questions. The Evening Concert with Nate Baker will start at 7pm. This is sponsored by the Community Initiatives program Grant, and PC Metis Local 1880.

May 27th - 5th Annual Spaghetti Dinner and Comedy Show - The Holy Trinity Fundraising committee and the Knights of Columbus proudly present their 5th Annual Spaghetti Dinner and Comedy show Saturday May 27th at the Holy Trinity Church. Cocktails at 530pm, Dinner at 630pm, and the comedy show will start at 8pm. Tickets are $40/each and available at Copy Magic. All proceeds will go to the church hall improvements! May 30th - CNP and area Child Development Checkups -  Come participate in FUN activities wtih your child and learn more about their development, as well as the resources and programs in our community. This is for ALL CHILDREN aged 1- 5 years old.. and includes EYE-DA testing; suited for children ready to make the transition to school.  There will be 2 seperate sessions may 30th at Horace Allen School. the first session is from 10am - 3pm, and then 5pm - 7pm. June 14th and 15th - CCHS Junior High Drama Clubs presents "Diary Of Anne Frank"  the CCHS Junior High Drama club is very excited to perform "The Diary of Anne Frank" June 14th and June 15th.. 2 shows with 2 completely different casts!!! Tickets are $5/each and will be avaliable at CCHS as of June 1st - NOTE - NO TICKETS WILL BE AVALIABLE AT THE DOOR. Only 200 have been printed for each performance. Due to the sensitive content, recommended viewing age is 12. For more info call the school 403-563-5651

 June 24th  - Pincher Creek Relay for Life - The Relay For Life is booked for Saturday June 24th 3pm - 11pm Whether you are cheering on survivors, walking the track, passing the baton to your teammate or joining in exciting trackside activities, Relay For Life is more than just a cancer walk - Its a journey. - Thursday June 29th;

155pm - 205pm - Offical Exhibit opening parade (Flumerfelt park to APP barracks)

2pm - Offical Exhibit opening. APP Barracks (7809 - 18th avenue, Coleman)

3:30pm - 8pm - Guided or self-guided tours of APP building and exhibit (every 15 minutes). Licensed beer gatrder opens!!

4pm - 8pm: Crowsnest Community Market at Gazeboo Park, Blairmore.

7pm - 10pm - Evening Concert featuring folk musician John Wort Hannam and other entertainment at the Museum ground(FREE FOR ALL AGES).Licensed Beer Gardens.

Friday, June 30th -

7pm - 10pm: 2nd annual Coleman OPub Crawl. -Costume contest and prizes. Tickets avaliable in advance at the CN Museum.

9pm - 11:30pm: Licensed Beer Garded with LIVE entertainment on the CN Museum Grounds.

Saturday July 1:

ALL DAY FUN AT FLUMERFELT PARK - astro jump, live music, old fashioned games. and cake cutting at 1pm!

8am to 10am: Pancake Breakfast at the Coleman Legion. 

11am - 12pm:  Canada Day Parade - Downtown Coleman

12pm - 4pm: BBQ and Beer Garden at the Coleman Legion

1:30 - 3:30pm: Strawberry Tea at the Coleman Seniors Centre.

5pm - 7pm: Coleman Community Society's annual Hog Heaven Pig Roast with licensed Beer Garden. Tickets avaliable at ScotiaBank in Blairmore.

8pm - LATE:  Licensed beer gardens with live entertainment from Mike Maguire. FREE. For ALL AGES. CN Museum Grounds. 

 July 2nd -Grand Re-Opening of the CNP Community Pool!!! You are invited to come to the grand re-opening of the CNO Community Pool Sunday July 2nd. The festivities wills start at noon. The Scheduel of events will include ribbon cutting, BBQ Lunch, Ballons launch and open swim.
