NOTE from The CNP BearSmart Association - Its seems early, but its that time of year again.... fruit bearing vegitation and trees are FULL OF FRUIT.. and tis is a MAJOR attractant for the bears.  PLEASE CLEAN off ALL THE APPLES  as soon as possible so they dont become bear food. . If you like to use your apples, THATS GREAT! Just please keep in minds tat rotting apples smell like candy for our 4 legged neighbours so plase stay on top of them as they ripen. If you require HELP.. get in touch with the Crowsnest Pass Bear Smaqrt Association and they will come pick them for you!...AT NO CHARGE!  They will also come and survey your property for bear attractants and help you manage your gardening, waste management, and fruit bearing vegitation. Meet Me At The Movies FALL SESSION Sept 18th to Nov. 13th - The Allied Arts Council of Pincher Creek, in collaboration with the Crowsnest Pass Allied Arts Association, and the Toronton Film Festival Film Circut present MEET ME AT THE MOVIES FALL SEASON!!! Tickets are $10/person, and they are ONLY AVALIABLE AT THE DOOR!

September 30th - Stardust Motel Evacuees Fundraiser  You have another chance to help our Wildfire evacuees this Saturday at teh Stardust Motel in Pincher Creek.  This is a BBQ fundraiser that will start at 11am and go TILL ALL THE FOOD IS GONE!! For just $10 you get a hamburger OR hotdog and chips.... Monatary donations will be accepted at the BBQ. Part of the proceeds from this BBQ will go to a trust fund set up for evacuees that was set up by Mr Jim Garner. The trust fund will assist with ALL ASPECTS OF LOSS inckluding livestock, pets, household, etc. Real Country will be there blasting music!!! Come by and say hi!!!

September 30th  - Moonshadow Run in Pincher Creek. - The Moponshadow Run in Pincher Creek is coming up September 30th !!! This is an evening race in the SHADOW OF THE MOON! This is a family fun run with  a 2.5km. 5km and 10km routes. No matter your age, you can particiapate and enjoy the atmostphere of the Moonshadow run. For more infor head to moonshadowrun.ca

September 29th - October 2 - ALBERTA CULTURE DAYS - Celebrate Alberta Culture in the Crowsnest Pass all weekend long - The Frank Slide Interpretive Centre is FREE OF CHARGE Friday to Sunday!

Friday Sept - October 10- The Frank Slide Interpretive Centre will be hosting Crowsnest Pass Public Art Gallery Presents: Interpreting Canada: An Artists Portrait. Curatorial by Sherry Chanin and Joni Mac Farland. Call cathy Pisony at 403-562-7388 for more info

Saturday September 30 - HARVEST OF MEMORIES Gala - The Crowsnest Historical Society invites you to the MOST EXCITING event of the fall season, and its BIGGEST Annual Fundraiser.  There will be a Dj spinning great tunes all niht, a live and silent auction, and gourmet catering by Country Encounters. Tickets are avaialbe IN ADVANCE ONLY at ScotiaBank in Blairemore. Tickets are $40/Person, $70/Couple or $280 for your own table! All Proceeds from the Harvest of Memories gala go directy to support the operatios fo the Crowsnest Museum.

October 6th-  JAKES GOLDEN TICKET FUNDRAISERJakes Golden Ticket Dinner and Dance Fundraiser is coming up October 7th at Pure Country Sallon in Frank. Ths is a fundraiser to help Little man Jake Burgman and his family get the Traiing needed to do Jakes physical therapy AT HOME.. and not travel to Calgary so often,. This event will include a delisouls dinner, a silent and live auction. There will be live Musci from Mike Maguire and Tynan Groves all night.  Tickets are $50 each at Crowsnest Insurance and ScotiaBank, both located in Blairmore. October 13th - CNP- HOME ALONE SAFE PROGRAM - Being at hme alone can be uncomfortable and unsafe without some basic skills. This priogram prepares youths to feel confident and safe when at home alone. The HOME ALONE PROGRAM is designed to provide children 10 years and older with the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responmsible when home alone for short periods of time. It will help them understand how to prevent problems and halde real ife situations. The program will be Friday October 13th from 1-4pm at ISS. The cost is ony $10. YOU MUST REGISTER BY OCTOBER 6th . October 20 and 21 - M. ART'S MARKET 2017! - Come to M. Art's Market at the Crowsnest Pass Public Art Gallery! Shop for works of original art and crafts from local and area artists!!  There will be several different artistsd between Friday and Saturday, so be sure to pop in both days - ADMISSION IS FREE! November 17 - 18th - RED CROSS BABYSITTING COURSE - This course will take place at the MDM community entre November 17th and 18th.  This is a baby sitting course for kids 11 and up. The cost is $20 per day. To Register call Tracey at 403-563-2208
